Rollers with rolled-on leather are moved to the rollout table with the help of mobile robots. The gripper moves rollers from AVG mobile robot into the cutting and picking cell. With the help of the carriage the film with the leather is rolled out on the surface of the vacuum table. Then the vacuum pump is switched on and the leather is pressed against the vacuum table eliminating irregularities and creases.

Robots use the knife cutter tool to perform cutting according to the program generated as the result of the tasks loaded to PLM via MES. When the cutting process is completed robots pick ready-cut details in a special way defined by MES. Robots form small batches and put them onto a mobile robot equipped with a “platform” for further transportation either to a warehouse or to the next cell.
